    Fitness Apps to Keep you Exercising

    As the Covid-19 pandemic continues we are noticing that our patients are really starting to miss their daily exercise routines. That could be group fitness classes, gym work or swimming. So we’ve put together a short list of apps that offer a range of motivating and engaging activities to help keep you fit and moving.

    Couch to 5K:

    The Couch to 5k program by the British National Health Service to help get people of all ages up and moving with the aim of being able to run 5 kilometres after 9 weeks.

    Foam Rolling:

    This app is an excellent tool to help work on your flexibility and stretching to help you either recover post exercise or manage any tight spots to help prevent injury. Simple written instructions and videos talk you through the exercises easily.

    7 Minute Tai Chi:

    Tai Chi is a great exercise for all, including those of us who suffer from degenerative or mobility issues that prevent normal weight bearing exercise. It is excellent for improving joint mobility and minimising the symptoms suffered from conditions such as osteoarthritis.
