Trigger point balls are a handy tool to have at home for some quick but effective soft tissue relief. You can use either a smooth ball or spikey ball; a tennis ball will also do the job.

1.Rhomboids: Place ball against the wall between your spine and shoulder blade on the side you want to release. Bring this arm across your body. Roll the ball around. Hold pressure on tender spots.
2.Pecs: Stand up straight with the hand of your affected arm flat against a wall. Position your body towards the wall and place a spiky ball between your chest, close to your breast bone, and the wall. Keeping some pressure on the ball, slowly move your body away from your hand.
3 Gluts: Sitting in a 4 point stretch place the ball on the floor under the buttock of the crossed leg. Roll over the ball, if you find a tender spot hold this position.
4. Calves : Sitting on floor with a ball underneath you calf. Move your leg so the ball moves around your calf.
